I’ve been reading a bunch of random stuff today; I ended up looking at this collection of photos of homes and towns in Burkina Faso (Africa), which is often considered the poorest country in the world (and with the highest rate of illiteracy), sometimes alternating with Niger. When you hate your home and your bills and your life, look at these pictures. Talk about perspective.
Perspective indeed. We have this amazing book called Material World, A Global Family Portrait that we use to keep things in perspective. We’ve downsized to a 1230 sq. foot home and will likely live in something smaller as we are looking to purchase some acreage for animals, etc…
We need perspective continually. 🙂
