Thanks to Breanna, things I’ve found in the fridge of the toy kitchen in the past seven days:
- The cordless phone
- The other cordless phone
- The remote for the television
- The remote for the old DVD player that no longer works
- The top to a plastic pitcher
- One of George’s clean socks
- One of George’s recently worn socks
- A t-shirt from the pile of clean laundry I left on Hayley’s bed to put away
- Three Rice Krispies
- A sippy cup
- Elmo
- Two zebras and Noah’s wife from the Little People Noah’s Ark set
I wish I knew what she was thinking as she hoardes all these things. Thank GOD I saw her actually doing it with the remote for our TV or I would have driven myself completely insane trying to find it that night.
I going out on a limb here, but if mama puts stuff in the big refrigerator, she might just be helping out by putting things (not necessarily food) in the toy refrigerator. lol
With us it was Alex throwing things in the garbage. We lived in the country and burned our garbage, and it wasn’t until we’d toasted (ok, MELTED into oblivion) a remote that we finally figured out that we needed to go through the garbage before burning it. I can’t begin to guesstimate how many spoons that kid threw away… and those are only the ones we KNOW about! GAH! Thank goodness they do grow up eventually, lol.
