Does it make me a loser if I confess that the nuclear testing in North Korea along with their declaration that “any agression” from the US will be taken as an act of war is making me feel really unsettled?
Is it actually true, the old tales that New Zealand is the safest place in the event of a nuclear war because of the air currents and whatnot? Because I think I could really like living in New Zealand…
I am sort of with you. And NZ has a lot of sheep and I like sheep.
There is some truth to it, depending on how severe a nuclear war we had, where the bomb is and what season it is. I know this, because I’m morbid, and when at high school did a project on NZ and the effect of a nuclear war. Didn’t make for great dreams.
With all the lovely items in the news these days, I’m definitely ready to pack my bags although I thought that I would join you up north. Not a good idea, huh? OK, NZ wouldn’t be too bad.
Huh. Thought that was Australia, for some reason.
I do hear New Zealand is lovely this time of year…
NZ is also thought to be safer as we don’t have a major military target, where as there’s one in Aussie.
Sherry? I’ve been thinking about this all day and freaking. If I have nightmares I’ll know who to blame, as prior to this I was using the “if I don’t think about it then it’s not happening” coping mechanism. Ol’ Bush will be like a bull to a flag with this one.
I’m freaked out too.
