I keep peeking out the window and it’s a little too heavily overcast right now for my taste. Any other day I might not care so much (or maybe if we hadn’t already had way too much rain for one summer!), but since we’re supposed to swim later, I’m hoping the clouds will just blow away.

I don’t mind if it’s a little cloudy, but the pool was a little chilly yesterday, so having some sun breaking through the clouds would be a nice bonus. On the other hand, as long as it doesn’t full out rain (or worse, thunder and lightning!) it will be okay. I just want it to be as nice as possible because while Hayley can go in the pool on her own, Breanna needs me in the water with her – if Mom has to go in, I’d rather not have it freezing cold.
There was a good point made on the weather on last night’s local news though. Because the temperatures have been well below average for this time of year (low 20’s C), the humidex hasn’t been so bad – the humidity actually just brings us up to nice warm temperatures. Still, it’s been one crazy summer.
Keep your fingers crossed for me that the rain will hold off until tomorrow and the sun will make a little bit of an appearance later!
