Ask me, I'll answer (more or less)

Okay, I have nothing to blog about really. I’ve been trapped in this apartment for too long between weather and an under-the-weather Breanna. Unless you want me to sit here and write about the very exciting walk I took to the store the other day to buy a new digital thermometer for Breanna or about how I love the fact that George is not the kind of guy who is squeamish about the fact that he had to go out and buy me pads today, well I just don’t really have much to say at the moment (though I’ve been keeping busy writing stuff over at PittWatch).

So I’m totally ripping off the so very awesome Chantal who is also automatically cool because she’s Canadian too. She had a blogging blank going on too and so she asked people to comment with some questions for her to answer.

My rules: No more than three questions per person. Go ahead and ask me something serious, something heavy, something silly, or something embarrassing. Keep it PG-13 though please, my family reads here. I won’t answer anything dirty, sorry!

Okay, go ahead, ask away!

  1. My question:

You seemed to be pretty calm about Breanna’s fever. I’m more of a freak. Upon the sign of any temperature over 101 (in one my children), I’m off to the doctor. I want to rule out strep throat and ear infections, among other things. How did you become so calm and get to the point where you take more of a wait-and-see approach? I envy you!

  2. Just an FYI, but in IE 7 your text is way the hell down on your page. And yes, I also use Mozilla but not on this machine, so I’m not sure what it looks like on that yet. 🙂

  3. Doh, now I forgot to ask my question…

Did you grow up in the Province of Quebec or some other province? How is it if you grew up in Quebec that your primary language is English? I thought French was mandatory (?) and the primary language there. What about George? Is French his primary language or English? Is Hayley bilingual? Will school for her be in English or French? (Can you tell I’m fascinated by the whole bilingual thing in Quebec?)

  4. whats your favorite place to visit in the state?

  5. If you could write the script for a TV show that you generally watch (and enjoy), which one would you chose?

  6. I wanted to ask about French and English but Heidi beat me to it so here is my question—Why is your comments section in German?

  7. My question:

How is the weather forcast looking for the end of the month ? Has that pile of snow in front of your window dissapeared or is it still piled up ?

Also: Do you actually know China Town in Toronto ? I’m spending two nights there, do you have recommendations as to where I should defenately eat (or stay away from) ?
