Breanna has been working on steps all day. This afternoon she made it for six steps in a row. There is something surreal about my nine-month-old baby stepping with that funny lurch, heading for my open arms while she chants, “Mama Mama Mama” at me.
Good lord.
I need a mojito.
That is just… terrifying. But slightly cool when it’s not your kid. 😉
Richard Walker’s Non-Traditional Mojito (2 drinks)
3-pkg sweetener (I use Splenda) into blender
Roll, zest and juice 1 lime into blender
1 clump of mint leaves into blender
6 oz rum (hey, I said it was non-traditional)
Cover and turn blender on low (say “Muddle – Muddle – Muddle”)
Crack enough ice for 2 drinks (fairly small)
Strain blender contents between two 8 oz glasses
Add 1oz (or less) of club soda to glasses
Add ice to top of glasses
Enjoy (my favorite mojito)
Erm….propelled by cuteness? I think it helps to have an older sibling that you desperately want to keep up with!
Go Bre!
I’m impressed! 🙂
