Turning five

Last night I kissed a four-year-old girl good night. She was very excited, full of anticipation for Saturday, the day she knew carried the number 20 on the calendar.

Big girl

This morning I woke up to a five-year-old girl. Somehow, in some insane way, my “baby” is five.

We had a party but it’s late and I’m tired and we have another big day tomorrow so I’ll leave it at that and give you a couple of pictures from yesterday when she helped me make her cake.

Cake time

I don’t know where the time has gone.

  1. Breanna sure is growing hope she had a great birthday. Her glasses are awesome by the way 🙂 very trendy 🙂

    • Ah! My spices! My sister has those and I loved them so I asked her where I could get some too (Canadian Tire) and I bought two sets. They hold the spices and have two different openings for using them, and the stick right on the fridge. They actually come with a metal bar that you can screw onto the wall but I like them on the fridge better.

I’ll try to get a better picture of them!

  2. Happy birthday! I sent my one year old to bed last night and today he’s two (no… he still has 4 hours and 27 minutes until he’s two… not that I’m finding it hard to let go…) So does that mean Breanna is off to school next year?
