I have been wanting to post something here all weekend, but words fail me. What can any of us say when such a tragedy has happened as took place on Friday in Connecticut?<\/p>\n
I have had to limit my exposure to the news because whenever it’s on, whenever I spend too much time thinking about those beautiful, innocent children who were murdered, and for those who survived but whose innocence died, I can’t stop crying.<\/p>\n
I think about my own child, so happy, so full of life, so oblivious to the horror in the world and I want to keep her inside with me where it’s safe. That’s not the answer, though, so I have settled for hugging her a little more often than normal.<\/p>\n
