What this is all about:

I started reading fanfics back in 1998 when I was looking up something about "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". I stumbled upon story after story about the characters, and began reading regularly. I became rather fond of Buffy-Spike stories for awhile but stopped reading them once the show really went in that direction. I also always had a soft spot in my heart for Buffy and Giles pairings, as well as Willow and Giles.

In the late Spring of 2004 I got sucked into fanfic again, this time all about every storyline ever conceivable (and some I never could have conceived of, really!) relating to Harry Potter and his world. This time though, I found too many stories that read like they were written by people who had fallen asleep during basic grammar lessons in high school English classes, or people who just made everyone so ridiculously out of character that I couldn't manage to suspend my own disbelief.

Inevitably, it got to the point that I decided to start writing my own. Inspired by a few good authors over on Fanfiction.Net but even moreso by Adrith's incredible ability to spin a good tale, I have become hopelessly addicted to writing stories based on the wonderful world created by JK Rowling.

I hope you enjoy them. For the sake of being perfectly clear, I am not under any delusions that these characters are mine. Ninety-nine percent of the characters are the porperty of Ms Rowling; I simply borrow her hard work to produce my own.
