Hey, Sherry here, updating for Amanda just so no one thinks she’s fallen into the hole that was meant to be her sink, never to return again.

Much to her disgust, she arrived on July 1st and found she essentially had no kitchen at all. Nothing was finished, in fact - from the pictures she sent me - much of it was never started. She spent the night at Neal’s house and sent Milo to her friend Nancy’s place. She stayed with Nancy last night since it’s closer to work, and I assume that she’s doing the same tonight. Unfortunately, Nancy doesn’t have Internet access at home (gasp - the HORROR!) and the firewalls at work block Amanda from logging into her own weblog so I’m playing catch up for you.

Without any further details, she’s speaking to one of the lawyers at work to find out how to insure that she will get a free month of rent at the very least since she was assured two months ago that her apartment would be living-ready upon the date she was moving in. I guess it’s pretty handy to work on a law firm!

Hopefully she’s going to get an opportunity to check in sometimes this week. If nothing else, she’ll e-mail me anything she wants me to post here.
