Journal

Lo and behold, there is a new entry up in my journal!! (Yes, I’m sure you’re all falling off your chairs, right?)
Oh, and I’m putting the book I was working on for NaNo off for awhile. My heart’s just not in it right now, because it’s too tied up with the book I wrote […]

The book I’m currently writing,

The book I’m currently writing, the one that’s for NaNoWriMo, but which won’t reach the 50,000 word-mark by Sunday, is okay. I’m enjoying writing it, and I’m a little over 100 pages in on my computer. It’s really not planned at all, which is a change for me. It might be freeing, in some respects, […]

Thanksgiving

I can’t believe I didn’t think of this earlier today when I put up my entry, but I would like to wish all my American friends a very happy Thanksgiving - eat lots of turkey and stuffing, and other goodies, and know that I am very jealous of you all (sigh, but Xmas isn’t too […]

Survivor

For those of you who don’t watch “Survivor”, scroll down a wee bit because I must have a Survivor moment:
John is an asshole. I doubt there is a single person who’d deny that, including his own mother. He’s annoying and likes to cause trouble for everyone. Last night’s episode made me hate John even […]

Asshole

Fuck. Remember me being all gleeful because I’d ordered a used book from Amazon.ca? That book on Wicca, A Witch Alone? Yeah. I decided to check into it to find out when it would be on its way, only to find out that my order has been refunded. I am NOT getting the book. Gee, […]

Sick

Yesterday I stayed home because from Monday afternoon on, I felt nauseous, dizzy and just plain BLAH. When I got up yesterday, I knew there was no way I was going to go in. So I slept a little bit more, read, wrote a bit, and watched the first tape of “Roots” (which, amazingly, I’ve […]

I’m very excited at the

I’m very excited at the thought of getting A Witch Alone in the mail some time next week. I rarely order anything online, but I managed to find a used copy of the book that was pretty cheap, so i don’t feel so bad.
*
Speaking of books, I’m really getting tired of Deja Dead. I […]

Survivor Mania

Alright. So I’m pissed. Those of you who watch Survivor will know why. Rupert was my favorite one (like many people) and he was voted off. It’s not that it was a surprise - they had merged into one tribe, so he became the biggest threat strength-wise.
Okay. End Survivor talk.

There are so many things

There are so many things that made me groan aloud and shake my head in this article. To name a few:
* That the US and Britain will conquer all terrorism. Um, yeah. That’s a nice thought and all, but it’s never going to happen. Terrorism has existed in one form or another for centuries, and […]

Gah. What a day this

Gah. What a day this is gonna be. The coworker who normally does reception with me isn’t in today because her father had an operation yesterday, so that means the phones are all on me. The company is pretty picky about answering all calls, so I have to ask other people who don’t normally do […]
