Thanks for the tip. My old printer (HP Inkjet 720C) is still one with a LPT connection and most if not all of my pictures never make it past flickr. It would be good to have a few I can frame and hang around the house.
Now if you could find a sponser that could give away the vacations everybody wants…
My ideal trip would be an educational adventure to the Sea Islands of South Carolina to attend the African American annual Gullah Festival. A festival that highlights the culture,language,customs,food and history of a rural island community once separated for decades through slavery and emancipation. Since I work in a low income school age child care center, I would make this a gift to the center which is so badly needed. I like for the children to be engaged in a variety of activities such as art and craft projects, photographing each other in fun as well as serious moments, scrapbooking and learning about their African American culture as well as other cultures for diversity. The trip would be used as a teaching tool so that they can learn geograpy and history. The printer would be great to prepare booklets so that the children could see another part of world that is foreign to them as well as get out the usual paperwork, but with such a nice state of the art touch.
