Every so often Hayley makes a request to see her baby pictures (and not-quite-baby pictures) so I’ll oblige her by going through my old journal entries to look at whatever I happened to have posted back then. The only drawback is that she’ll ask random questions that I don’t necessarily have an answer to. Luckily, when I remind her that it was X amount of years ago and I have no idea, she’ll make up her own answer.

For instance, in this particular entry, she asked me why her mouth was open in the last picture. I started to say I really didn’t know why she had her mouth open when she interrupted and said, “Oh, my mouth is open because I couldn’t keep it closed because I wanted to have some Mommy Milk.”

Well okay then! That’s precise.
